INFORMATION:
AWANA stands for: Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed. The goal of our AWANA Ministry is to clearly present the Gospel message and help boys and girls memorize and apply God's Word - all while having lots of fun doing it. AWANA Clubs at SCBC: ~Cubbies: Ages 3 - 4 ***Children MUST be 3 years old prior to 9/1/18 and potty trained.*** Limited enrollment ~Sparks: Kindergarten through 2nd grades ~T&T: 3rd through 6th grades ~Trek: 6th & 7th grades ****NOTE: 6th grade clubbers have the option to continue in T&T for another year or they may move up to the Trek program which is designed for middle school students. Parents can decide which program best suits their child. Awana meets on Friday evenings from September through May from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. (Cubbies dismiss at 8:15 p.m.) REGISTRATION FEES: (Cash or Check made payable to SCBC) Registration fees will be collected at the check-in table on your first night of AWANA. $40 for 1 child $70 for 2 children $95 for 3 or more children (Registration fee covers the handbook, but not uniform) SUPPLIES NEEDED: Handbook (included in the registration fee) Uniform: Cubbies $12; Sparks $12; T&T $18 Optional: Handbag for Cubbies or Sparks $7 PARENT HELP NEEDED: We have many faithful and committed people serving in our AWANA ministry but for us to efficiently minister each week to your children, we need your help. We are asking parents to sign up to help once a quarter during the AWANA year. An online sign up sheet will be circulated throughout the AWANA year so you can sign up to help.
