INFORMATION:
Awana is an acronym that stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed (taken from 2 Timothy 2:15). It is an international, nondenominational, Bible-centered organization providing weekly clubs for children. The program will help children learn Bible verses which will be hidden in their hearts to help them throughout their lives.
The goal of Awana is to reach children with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him. Awana also include reaching the parents and other family members with gospel and training adults and youth to minister to children.
At Southwest Chinese Baptist Church, Awana clubs meet on Friday nights (except major holidays) during the school year from September to May. We have the following clubs for age group from three-years-old through sixth grade:
• Cubbies (3-years-old by September 1, 2014)
• Sparks (Kindergarten – second grade)
• T&T (Third – sixth grade)
Join us for Awana:
When: Starting September 5, 2014 at 7:30 pm – 9:15 pm on Friday Nights
(Except major holidays during school year)
What: Memorize bible verses, play games, learn about God in exciting and fun ways
For: 3-years-old (by September 1, 2014) through sixth grade
Cost: $65 ($60 – Early registration on or before September 1, 2014)
