INFORMATION:
AWANA stands for: Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed. The goal of our AWANA Ministry is to clearly present the Gospel message and help boys and girls memorize and apply God's Word - all while having lots of fun doing it.
AWANA Clubs at SCBC:
~Cubbies: Ages 3 - 4 ***Children MUST be 3 years old prior to 9/1/19
and potty trained.*** LIMITED ENROLLMENT. NOTE: We have currently reached our maximum number of Cubbies. Any new registrants will be placed on a waiting list.
~Sparks: Kindergarten through 2nd grades
~T&T: 3rd through 5th grades
~Trek: 6th through 8th grades
Awana meets on Friday evenings from September through May from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. (Cubbies dismiss at 8:15 p.m.)
REGISTRATION FEES: (Cash or Check made payable to SCBC)
Registration fees will be collected at the check-in table on your first night of AWANA.
$45 for 1 child
$75 for 2 children
$100 for 3 or more children
(Registration fee covers the handbook, but not uniform)
SUPPLIES NEEDED:
Handbook (included in the registration fee)
Uniform: Cubbies $12; Sparks $12; T&T $18
Optional: Handbag for Cubbies or Sparks $8
PARENT VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENT:
We have many faithful and committed people serving in our AWANA ministry that attend here at SCBC and their own home churches. But for us to efficiently minister each week to your children, we need your help. All parents will be required to volunteer once a quarter during the AWANA year. An online sign up sheet will be circulated throughout the AWANA year so you can sign up to help.
