INFORMATION:
Awana begins on August 13 at 6pm and will run through May 12, 2024.
2023-2024 Clear Springs Baptist Awana Children's Club is for children of the greater Johns Creek area attending Kindergarten through 6th Grade during the 2023-2024 school year. Awana meets Sunday evenings from 6-7:30pm with a few Sunday's off in alignment with the Fulton County School's calendar.
Awana handbooks are Bible and Christ centered and are age graded in terms of difficulty levels. Typically a child will complete one handbook in a club year.
Each club night consists of an opening time, game time (on our new indoor Awana Circle), handbook time (to review andpass sections from their handbooks), a large group teaching time called Council Time, and an end of the night awards ceremony.
There will be theme nights. Also, there are two Awana Store nights (one before Christmas and one at the end of the club year in May) where children may spend the incentive Awana Bucks they earn across each night for being present, wearing their uniform, bringing their Bible/Handbook, passing sections, etc.
Annual Club Fee of $95 per child covers the cost of uniform, awards, and one handbook for the year. If a child needs a second handbook, it will cost $20 additional. Families with three or more children will be $85 per child. If child already has a uniform, annual costs are less $20. That all said, scholarships are available if the cost of Awana is difficult for your family. If scholarship assistance is needed, please call Oliver or Pastor Tom to discuss your financial need as we do not want $$ to be the reason a given child cannot attend Awana.
