Jenison Bible Kid's Ministry is excited to offer Lifeway's TeamKID for Preschool (age 4)-4th Grade this school year! We are also excited about our all new Preteen Group for 5th & 6th Grade!! These programs are going to be SO MUCH FUN!! TeamKID for preschool and elementary will have the same lessons each week, so your kids will all learn the same thing! The activities that accompany the lessons will be different from preschool to elementary though in order to be age appropriate. Preschool TeamKID is for age 4-Kindergarten and TeamKID is 1st-4th Grade! Everything throughout the night is focused on the theme of the night and teaches the kids through all of the fun events! The night begins with a warm up activity that gets the kids prepared for the lesson they will learn. After that is their song and lesson time, followed by a "stretch it out" segment where the kids have a fun activity that reinforces the lesson they just learned. There is a cool missions segment following that activity and then game time! The games also reinforce the lesson learned!! At the end of the night, the kids participate in a "cool down" time where they review what they learned and have a snack. We can't wait to see your kids at TeamKID! Our new Preteen Group will be using Lifeway's Forged Preteen curriculum! This is an excellent curriculum that tackles many of the issues or 10-12 year olds are faced with right now in these very important, formative years. The goal of preteen is to build relationships between our kids, while teaching them about the truth of God's word, to prepare them to enter youth group as a solid group. We need to be feeding our youth group in a healthy way, so our new Preteen Group is designed to do that. Preteens will have a monthly extra weekend activity just for fun and to reach out to their friends too!
